Common questions

Do you use AI to build?

Yes — and that's the point. I use the best AI coding tools available, which means I can deliver faster and charge significantly less than an agency running a full team. The AI handles the repetitive work; I handle the thinking, architecture, and quality. You get more, for less. There's no smoke and mirrors.

How does a project engagement work?

We start with a scoping session to nail down exactly what's being built and agree on a price. Then I build in short cycles, checking in regularly so you can see progress early. No six-week discovery phases. No surprises.

I've been quoted $50k by an agency. Is that normal?

For a traditional agency with a team of designers, project managers, and developers, yes — that's what it costs to cover their overheads. Inferrd doesn't have that overhead. The work gets done faster and you don't pay for the layers in between.

Do you work with early-stage startups?

Yes, and some of the most interesting work I've done has been with founders at the idea stage. If you need an MVP and don't have a technical co-founder, that's a good fit.

What happens after the project ends?

You get everything — code, documentation, hosting setup, a walkthrough. It's yours. If you want ongoing work, a retainer makes sense. If not, you can take it to any developer.

Tell me what you're working on and I'll recommend the right structure — or tell you honestly if something else makes more sense.
